Can we issue SBLC or DLC for the value of the gold?

We do NOT issue SBLC. However, under certain circumstances, we may issue an LC as a guarantee or Proof of Funds (PoF) to confirm our commitment to purchase the gold for a specific quantity. This will only be issued after we have received and approved the completed CIS/KYC form, including all supporting documents from the Seller, and after it has passed our detailed due diligence from our internal and external Compliance Team as well as our Bankers.

What would happen if the gold shipment is found by Dubai Customs to have illegal or not all paperwork according to their specifications to enter the country?

You have two options if the shipment is held by Customs Authorities. You can choose to have the shipment returned to you at your own expense, as long as it’s not confiscated. Alternatively, you can submit any required paperwork within 15 days, provided that the Customs Authorities agree. If you choose the second option, our signed Agreement will be void, and we will lose time and money dealing with the Dubai Customs officials. You would also lose the shipping cost you paid. However, if the Customs Authorities receive the necessary paperwork within 15 days, we can proceed with the rest of the working procedures outlined in the Agreement.

Do we work with brokers, brokerage firms, or facilitators?

We are committed to ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of all transactions. As part of our business model, we do not work with brokers and do not rely on intermediaries to facilitate our deals. Our focus is exclusively on purchasing directly from producers, manufacturers, and commodity traders ensuring transparency and accountability.

Should a commodity brokerage firm wish to introduce a deal, we recommend they negotiate terms directly with a trading firm and provide a guarantee letter. The trading firm can then engage with us directly, clearly identifying the brokerage firm as a party to the transaction. We only engage with the buyers and sellers who assert direct ownership of the goods involved in the transaction.

This approach helps us maintain the integrity of our operations and deliver consistent results for all stakeholders.
