Who we serve at Motjuan

Mining and Exploration Companies

Motjuan partners with junior, mid-sized, and large-scale mining companies as well as producers of copper, cobalt, lithium, bauxite, gold, and other high-demand minerals to supply ethically sourced materials to global markets.

We also collaborate with license and concession holders in emerging and frontier markets, as well as greenfield and brownfield exploration firms seeking offtake agreements or joint venture partnerships. Our end-to-end solutions include market access and due diligence support.

Refineries and Smelters

We collaborate with refineries and smelters to distribute and market high-grade copper cathodes, cobalt hydroxide, lithium carbonate, gold doré, aluminum, and other products through vetted, direct offtake buyer networks. Additionally, we partner with smelters by providing trade finance, logistics support, and long-term offtake solutions.

Authorized Aggregators and Traders

We partner with government-authorized mineral aggregators, artisanal and small-scale mining cooperatives operating under fair-trade or responsible sourcing initiatives, and companies collaborating with NGOs or transparency initiatives (e.g., EITI, ICMM). Our goal is to streamline the sale of certified minerals and metals by connecting suppliers with verified buyers through secure contracts, rigorous due diligence, and global market exposure.

Chemical and Industrial Material Processors

We support chemical and industrial material processors by sourcing and supplying battery-grade lithium, cobalt sulfate, manganese, and other critical inputs, ensuring quality, traceability, and access to global markets. Additionally, we assist industrial chemical refiners specializing in gallium, germanium, and other vital resources and strategic material suppliers committed to ESG and traceability standards.

Government and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs)

We partner with government entities and state-owned enterprises—including national mining companies, resource-exporting entities, and parastatal organizations—to facilitate offtake agreements for commercializing national mineral assets. Our solutions include global market access, structured offtake agreements, investment-grade trade support, and comprehensive investment management and operational solutions.

Project Developers Seeking Market Entry

We collaborate with project developers on emerging ventures seeking off-take pre-financing, joint venture partners, or supply chain integration; suppliers with existing production capacity looking to establish formalized international sales channels; and technical partners requiring commercial structuring solutions to monetize reserves or production output.

What we expect from our suppliers

We have developed a robust framework to identify and mitigate the inherent risks involved in selecting and working with suppliers. Whether conducting thorough due diligence, choosing partners, or onboarding them, each step is carefully planned and executed.

Every supplier undergoes a rigorous risk assessment before becoming part of the Motjuan ecosystem. Transparency is one of our core values, which is why we require suppliers to provide relevant information upon reasonable request. This commitment is what makes our commodity procurement services so reliable.

Motjuan doesn’t just buy commodities — we build long-term partnerships with suppliers who share our vision for responsible, scalable, and profitable trade.

Environmental Policy

We require our suppliers to take full responsibility for their environmental impact. Each of our partners is committed to preserving biodiversity and reducing industrial emissions. At Motjuan, we are determined to lead the transition toward Net Zero by 2050. Upon request, all suppliers provide detailed carbon footprint data for the products they deliver.

We are deeply committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our operations — and those of our suppliers. Our partners share this commitment, which is why our relationships are enduring and mutually beneficial.

Integrity and Respect

Suppliers are strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of bribery, whether involving public officials or private individuals.

Motjuan expects all organizations supplying natural resources to operate with integrity and transparency in their dealings. Suppliers are also encouraged to consider publicly disclosing their beneficial ownership, fostering greater accountability and trust within the supply chain ecosystem.

Health and safety

Motjuan insists that all suppliers adhere to the highest safety standards to protect their employees and ensure product quality. Suppliers must establish clear health and safety protocols, equip workers with appropriate protective gear, and provide comprehensive training. Safe work practices and careful handling of hazardous materials—during both transport and use—are non-negotiable.

In short, suppliers are expected to share Motjuan’s unwavering commitment to exceptional safety standards.

Human Rights

Motjuan requires all suppliers to uphold internationally recognized human rights standards, as outlined in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Suppliers are also expected to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate any human rights risks arising from their business operations and supply chain activities.
